And welcome to The District of Columbia. And I am very glad to have this opportunity to do a little tour around Washington D.C. Taking you to the most luxurious hotels at the capital. And sort of tip you off, at where everything is and what the city has to offer. So while you are here you won’t miss a thing. So together, let’s take a walk around the city and see what’s what. Number ten: JW Marriott, This exquisite hotel, situated at Downtown Washington, offers you an upscale accommodation closed to many Tourists attractions at the capital, Such as the US Capitol, The White House, The National Mall and The National Museum for History And Culture Of African American. The hotel is offering an indoor heated pool, specious conference rooms, a couple of restaurants, Starbucks and luxury amenities to promise you a pleasant stay. Number nine, The Watergate hotel. This luxury hotel, adjusted to the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, is a terrific hotel in the capital. Number eight, Omni Shoreham. This historic hotel was built at 1930, and it is a member of The National Trust for Historic Preservation. Since its opening, the hotel was an entertainment venue, and hosted inaugural balls of every single president of The United States at the 20th century, Beginning with Franklin D Roosevelt On March 4th 1933. Over the years, the hotel has been the Washington Home of many politicians and celebrities from all over the world, and was featured in a few movies such as 1987s “No Way Out”. The hotel offers luxury accommodation option at the city, and its famous garden is a common location for young couples to celebrate their wedding. The hotel has won the Four Triple A Diamonds Hospitality Award. Number seven, The Mayflower Hotel. This hotel opened its doors in 1925, and is known as “The Hotel Of Presidents”. It is the longest continuously operating hotel at the Capital, and largest luxury hotel at District of Columbia. The Hotel is a member of The National Trust For Historic Preservation, and is part of The Autograph Collection- A luxury hotels brand of Marriott International. Two weeks after its opening, the hotel hosted the inaugural ball of President Calvin Coolidge, and hosted inaugural balls since then, every four years until 1981. The hotel hosted many politicians and Civil Servants through its years. The hotel offers fine accommodation option at the Capital and stylish American restaurant called EDGAR Bar & Kitchen. The hotel won the Four Triple A Diamond Designation. Number six, Park Hyatt Washington D.C This high end luxury hotel, offers award winning accommodation and dining in Georgetown. The hotel has won the Four Triple A Diamond Designation and the Four Forbes Stars award. The hotel also offers one of the best restaurants at the Capital, The Blue Duck Tavern, a Michelin Starred restaurant. Offers open kitchen, Farm To Table restaurant, which definitely worth a visit at your stay in Washington D.C Number five, Fairmont Washington D.C. This specious hotel, carrying The Fairmont Brand, is a breathtaking hotel adjacent to Georgetown. The hotel, was renovated in 2016, and offers even more opulent accommodation than ever before. The hotel won the Four Triple A Diamonds hospitality award. Number four, Sofitel. This lovely, sexy hotel, offers French hospitality at its best, and is just steps away from The White House. With dazzling guestrooms, decorated with sense of luxury, your stay at the hotel will definitely live for the brand’s motto “Life Is Magnifique”. The hotel offers a French cuisine bistro called ICI Urban Bistro and a bar called “Le Bar” offering high end alcoholic drinks. My Third Award, goes, to The Willard InterContinental. Situated, a step away from the capital’s hottest tourist attractions, this hotel is one of the oldest hotels in The United Sates. It was originally opened at 1818 and In 1901 the hotel was reopened in its current beaux arts twelve story structure, And was designed, by the famed hotel architect, Henry Janeway Haredenbergh. The hotel hosted many notable guests including, Abraham Lincoln in 1861, And Martin Luther King, composed his famous “I Have a Dream” speech in this hotel. Today the hotel is operated by the IHG hotels chain. And offers irresistible sense of modern luxury filled with historic charm. The hotel, offers a historic bar and an award winning restaurant. It also features the famous Peacock Alley Tea, which offers afternoon tea in the weekends. The hotel won four Triple A Diamonds Award and Forbes Travel guide award. My second Award goes To The Four Seasons Georgetown. Situated in Georgetown, the home for many tourist attractions in Washington D.C, This hotel offers one of the finest hospitality options at the capital.
