(upbeat techno music) – Amber Anderson here, your luxury realtor with Pacific Sothebys
International Realty, and La Jolla has always been
one of my favorite places to sell real estate. Spanish for, the jewel, La Jolla has perfect Mediterranean weather and exquisite palms along its
lush hillsides and beaches. Some of the reasons visitors
from around the world choose to make La Jolla their home
is the seamless blending of lifestyles, where high
culture meets beach culture. There’s no shortage of
five star restaurants, hip and trendy lounges, along with numerous shops and attractions. From Ralph Lauren to Kate
Spade to McLaren of San Diego, there is no taste unaccounted for. Girard Street and Prospect Avenue can rival Rodeo Drive of
Beverly Hills any day. Events such as the world
famous Concours d’Elegance are held yearly on the grass
overlooking the La Jolla Cove. La Jolla is just minutes
from downtown San Diego, and is home to the Museum
of Contemporary Art, Salk Institute for Biological
Studies, The Conrad, and of course the Birch Aquarium. There is even a world-class
golf course in La Jolla, the La Jolla Country Club, and let’s not forget our
regular PGA stop, Torrey Pines. Vacationers travel to the Caribbean for great diving and snorkeling, but when you live in La Jolla, all it takes is a short
stroll down to the cove where you may see dolphins,
sharks, Yellow Tail tuna, sea lions, and other
countless tropical fish. La Jolla is made up of 16 neighborhoods. Three of my favorites are the La Jolla Shores area for its convenient beach
access and walkability, and of course the exclusive La
Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. Country Club and Hillside, because of its stunning
panoramic coastal views and climbing. The La Jolla Village,
with its art district and of course its magnificent
ocean-view estates and luxurious condos. Beautiful sandy beaches, romantic
sunsets, real posh shops, restaurants, luxurious hotels, and the most amazing schools
in all of San Diego County, this is La Jolla.
