This is The City Club Hotel… The City Club Hotel is located on the iconic
Hotel Row. It’s very convenient to all that Midtown Manhattan has to offer – Bryant Park,
Central Park, Times Square and Grand Central are all just a short walk away. Once a political club in the early 1900s,
the City Club Hotel still retains much of that dignified elegance. The two-level grand
duplexes are breathtaking. They used to make up the original ballroom of the club, and
they have 20-foot ornate ceilings. The rooms are decorated to be all about New
York. The artwork is from local artists, the encyclopaedias and books in the room feature
New York City, vintage Playbills hang on the wall – even the bath products are from C.O.
Bigelow, New York’s oldest apothecary. Guests love the special chocolate chip cookies
left at turndown, still warm. The free wireless, large desks, and computers in the Business
Center make it an ideal spot to have meetings, or get some work done. The DB Bistro Moderne by famous chef Daniel
Boulud is the hotel’s own restaurant. This French-American bistro is one of the most
popular in the area for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – or even pre-theatre. Guests of
the hotel can enjoy it in their rooms as well. It’s most famous for the very indulgent DB
Burgers stuffed with foie gras and short ribs!
