You can use the Announcement Bar to display a custom message above your site. This can be used to announce things like a sale in your store or scheduled site maintenance. In the Home Menu click Marketing, then click Announcement Bar. To enable the Announcement Bar, select Enable Announcement Bar from the dropdown menu. Once selected, you’ll see a box appear where you can add and format your text. You can make text bold or italicized and create text links. You can also add a clickthrough URL to make your whole Announcement Bar a clickable link. When you’re done, click “Save.” Preview your site. Depending on your template, your Announcement Bar will appear either above or below your Navigation. Your visitors can click the “x” in the upper right corner, to close the Announcement Bar. To customize the style of the Announcement Bar, go to your Home Menu and click Design, then click Site Style editor. Under Announcement Bar you can set your bar background color.
